Oil seed steam cooker ЖПМ model series is designated for wet-heat treatment of oil seed feedstock and oil seed meal.
Purpose and application
Oil seed steam cooker ЖПМ model series is designated for wet-heat treatment of oil seed feedstock and oil seed meal. During wet-heat treatment physical and chemical properties of oil seed meal change, decrease of surface forces retaining oil in oil seed meal upon obligatory observation of conditions, providing preservation of natural oil properties that is further subject to pressing. Processed oil seed meal in cooker is turn into oil seed cooked meal.
Firstly oil seed meal is moistened by superheated steam to 8 – 9% with simultaneous heating and then is conditioned by humidity and transferred to pressing at 115° С on outlet.
Oil seed steam cooker is made in the form of welded cylindrical structure as set of heating section (vessels). In central part a shaft with fixed mixer’s blades is installed. As heat transfer agent saturated steam oil is used.
Oil seed cookers are made with 3 – 8 vessels, with diameters 1200 and 2000 mm, depending on required capacity.
